Cold beverages served in foam cups stay cold much longer than those served in disposable cups made of other materials. Also, foam’s insulation capabilities help preserve beverage integrity by preventing ice from melting too rapidly, thereby maintaining the great taste of a beverage versus producing a watered down version.
Likewise, hot beverages taste better when consumed at hotter/warmer temperatures versus lukewarm. Foam cups aren’t too hot to handle and don’t
require extra “safety sleeves” which add more cost.

Another positive attribute of foam cups is that they don’t sweat, or form condensation on the exterior surface, like paper or plastic. Consumers ordering take-out beverages prefer not to get their hands wet or be left with a puddle of water in their car’s cup holder. Master Containers believes that by offering foam products to consumers, businesses can boost customer satisfaction, ultimately increasing profits.
NOTE: Foam cups and containers are not intended for microwave use.
The following tables outline the specifications of our foam cup line of products. All cups can be used for both hot or cold beverages, and most offer a variety of lid options. In addition, all cup sizes are printable with the exception of the 1.25E, 4D and 20TC. Master Containers' foam cups are recyclable where recycling for the #6 PS symbol (for polystyrene) is available.
